The 2026 Introductory Session and Seminar XXI Alumni Reunion will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the National Press Club. This year’s session will feature guest speaker Dr. Francis J. Gavin, the Giovanni Agnelli Distinguished Professor and inaugural Director of the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Dr. Gavin will be presenting "Thinking Historically: A Guide to Statecraft and Strategy."

- This event is expected to have upwards of 200 attendees including the incoming class and Seminar XXI alumni.
- This event is for Seminar XXI fellows and alumni only. We DO NOT accommodate spouses.
- There will be a cash bar for the cocktail hour.
- There are no required readings for this session.
Dress Code:
Civilians: Business attire (coat and tie) and equivalent for women
Military: Formal uniform or business attire (Summer white uniforms are acceptable)
